Summary:

The article was about how far homosexual rights have come.  It talked about how before, being gay was a crime because it was "disgusting" to others, but now, people are starting to take a humanitarian view on homosexuality.  It discussed the politics of disgust and politics of humanity.

Conclusion:

I learned a lot from this article. It gave me some useful information for my paper. It was helpful in that it showed how far we have come in giving homosexuals more rights.
